as I sit here,
a college student with years of life to live stretched out before me,

Pastor Jeff said this morning that “at some point, every created thing will be shaken. so stand on Jesus Christ, and you will not be moved.”
I look at all the things my heart turns to for comfort and security. I ponder their tempural nature.
Relationships with people, money, my body image, food, status, praise of man.
Let God be my comfort, my security. Because the list above is nothing to put my deepest hope in. Because only He is worthy. Because He is the good Father.

I want more of you God.
I am not what you would call a “runner.” I don’t usually enjoy it, and it doesn’t seem to come as naturally to me as it does to others. However, today when I hopped on the treadmill I didn’t want to stop! For some reason, running came easily and I wasn’t tiring. It felt amazing. I make it a point to run a mile at least three times a week, but today I felt like running a marathon.
