as I sit here,
a college student with years of life to live stretched out before me,
I pray for an eternal mindset.
this life is so quick, so temporary, and this earth is only heading towards the next disaster.
Pastor Jeff said this morning that “at some point, every created thing will be shaken. so stand on Jesus Christ, and you will not be moved.”
I look at all the things my heart turns to for comfort and security. I ponder their tempural nature.
Relationships with people, money, my body image, food, status, praise of man.
Let God be my comfort, my security. Because the list above is nothing to put my deepest hope in. Because only He is worthy. Because He is the good Father.
